Old YMCA Turned Into Haunted House | Arts & Culture
Alfresco Productions, a non-for-profit organization promoting the arts in Granite City, and Art Park Ost and Gallery 1410, Granite’s newest art gallery, proudly present the newest addition to the Art and Entertainment District in downtown Granite City: The Cutting Room Floor: a Haunted House located in the old YMCA building on Niedringhaus Ave.
This haunted house will bring together characters from a number of classic and recent horror films, with guided tours taking guests through the haunted corridors of the old YMCA building.
The haunted house will run the weekends of October 8th through Halloween.
It will feature 9 nights of horror, including Saturday October 8th, Friday and Saturdays the weekends of October 14th and 21st, and nightly Friday through Monday the weekend
of October 31st.
The venue will also feature a show of fine art during the weekend of October 8th in collaboration with the Six Mile Sculpture Iron Pour taking place in Granite City. Venders will have booths in the gym of the old YMCA during Haunted House hours, with food stands brought to you by Alfresco Productions. Admission is $10 a person.
The old YMCA is located at 1410 Niedringhaus Avenue in Granite City, IL.
