Timothy Kalter was spotted by a deputy in a stolen Mustang, according to authorities. A deputy approached the vehicle and a confrontation followed. The deputy shot Kalter twice. However, he was able to get in the car and lead police on a high speed chase. It ended at Highway 100 and Pacific.
